Turkey Fun

I'm not sure how many times you have to do something before it can be called a tradition, but I'm going to go ahead and label this our Thanksgiving tradition. For the second year in a row we headed for the coast to celebrate our thankfulness.  It was a great time of swimming, shopping, eating, seeing Christmas lights, and just hanging out.

We did a little shopping on Wednesday before all the craziness hit and while the princess and I shopped Doug and Little Man played on the kiddie rides.  Playing in this case did not mean actually riding them, but instead just sitting in them and insisting that he did not want Daddy to put any quarters into the rides! He does love to pretend to drive them all though.

Little Man had two different opportunities and get acquainted with the sand and he did really well.  It helped that he had tennis shoes and a full layer of clothing to keep it off him.

This was what Little Man called HIS pool because we were wonderfully the only ones who were in it on all our visits to the pool.

There were also moments of taking down his sister with his killer wrestling moves.

The victor!

This was one sweet spot we found to swing.  Had a nice oceanfront view and Little Man would have been happy here all day.

Getting up the courage to touch the sand.

Checking the few grains that he managed to grab.

And then he goes back in for a few more swipes at the sand.

And decides he has had enough!

And finally sleep!  It's sometimes very hard to come by.
