This kids and I just spent 4 days visiting my brother's farm in Alabama. The kids had an absolutely wonderful time.
First morning we were down at the pond so the little boys could fish. Little Man was super excited to try it out and managed to snag a fish pretty quick. Of course he wasn't about to touch it even when his Mama petted it like a dog to try and convince him it was fun...yuck!
There was some serious concentration going on. Once he gets focused there is little that can distract him.
We spent an afternoon at one of the local pumpkin patches. Little man really liked this wooden tractor because it had a trailer attached to it. He commandeered it as his "train" and spent a lot of time saying "All aboard" to anyone who would listen.
We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins and Little Man was quick to point out the dirt that he was sure could not be on his pumpkin.
This is the one!
It's a blessing to watch him enjoy this corn bin. There were 4 corn bins, his 5 cousins and sister were jumping in one while he kept one all to himself.
And to make Uncle James's farm just about perfect there was a soccer goal right in the front yard.
I wish I could claim that he can already juggle, but this was just a lucky bounce!
This was his favorite moments of the weekend. He got to help Uncle James drive the tractor and operate the front loader.
