There are several corn maze's to choose from around here. This year we decided to pick one of the smaller ones with less commercialism. It turned out to be a good choice for Little Man. There were over 20 tractors (some of them over 70 years old) and he enjoyed sitting on almost every single one of them. We managed to steer him from a few, but he would have happily sat on every single one! This first one was literally right inside the fence and he went straight for it! It looks like he is sitting on the same tractor in all these pictures, but they are all different model years of the same Farmall Tractor.
There were several different silos with corn and we thankfully managed to find one that had nobody in it. There was quite a bit of reluctance on Little Man's part at first, but his sister did an awesome job of showing him how much fun it could be. It took a while and lots of steps in and then jumping out, but after a while he was happily throwing corn and even managed to lie down and let me cover his legs.
And there was the cow train!
We tried to do a few posed pictures with the kids, but neither of them were into it. But, their Dad is pretty good and he managed to catch a few!
All in all this was a great outing for Little Man. We choose not to do the actual maze (man those things are expensive), but the kids still had a great time running around and enjoying being together.
