Meeting Thomas

In April we made our first trip to Tweetsie.  Last week we planned a return trip this time to meet Thomas.  Little Man was literally bouncing off the couch with excitement.

We stood in line to have our picture taken with  Sir Topham Hat.  While we were standing there, Little Man pulled me down and said, "I don't like that!"  It was pretty cute, but I don't blame him.  It is a rather odd character.

He loves all the rides that Tweetsie has to offer.  There really isn't one that he doesn't like or that he doesn't ask to ride.  The lines were really long this time so he only got one ride on most of them and he missed out on the Tilt A Whirl this time because he was with Mom, who would hurl, instead of Daddy!

This was the first try on the Ferris Wheel.  I was a little nervous to take him so high up in the air knowing his wiggliness, but I managed to keep his butt in the seat and he LOVED this ride.

Another make Mommy nervous ride.  There has to be something crazy about putting a two year old into and old ski lift and taking off.  You can't tell, but I'm  holding his little butt to the seat as we discuss the finer points of the Tornado ride we are swinging over.

This is the face you get when you ask Little Man to smile!

You can see the tired eyes coming on.  He makes it all day without a nap and then stays awake the whole way home so it is one long day for him.
Last time he did this screaming so this was a huge improvement.  He was pretty serious about flying his plane, we never could get a true smile.

He was proud of his Jr. Conductor certificate at the end of the day.  He had no idea what it was, but he was pretty proud of that piece of paper.
