We had planned on doing a little Easter egg hunting with Little Man, but we arrived late at the church and all the eggs had been found. Little Man took it all in stride and instead he played lots of little games and went home with plenty of candy. He had his big buddy looking out for him at one the game stations. Jeremy filled all his pockets with candy, all four of them, while Little Man was playing at his station.
Nothing like a line drive basketball shot!
This is the first time we have gotten him into a bounce house at an event like this. He climbed right on in and jumped until we got him out!
Doing a little fishing.
After our morning fun, we got dressed up and went to the park to take some Easter pictures. I learned the hard way last year that Sunday morning is just not a good time for me to try and take pictures of the kids. Doug is a WAY better photographer than I am anyway so it worked out much better to do them a day early. It basically turned into a session of convincing Little Man to open his eyes and close his mouth! But we did get a few really cute ones.
And this is where he tells us to wait a minute because he needs to check out the tree bark!
He became fascinated with a spot on the tree that had some bark peeling and we lost him for a while.
This was when he decided he was done. He wouldn't even look at the camera anymore, but I think this is one of the cutest of the day.
My favorite from the day. This is total Little Man stance!
